Se llama de 3 Golpes porque son los que se dan en cada pasada de la lanzadera del telar para apretar la trama. Se teje en Lana Merina Fina teñida a mano en Chocolate ó Añil con Blanco natural y en Negro y Rojo teñidos . Los Jorongos miden 1.30 x 2 metros con 30 cm de barbas torcidas y anudadas a mano. Salen en $4800 en Lana Criolla Tradicional y en Lana Merina fina son a $6800mxn. Los gabanes que miden 1×2 mts y salen en $3800 en Lana Criolla ó en $5200 en Lana Merina. The Jorongo de Greca Enganchada 3 Golpes is hand woven in an elegant traditional pattern that is apparently simple, but known only to the best weavers. The “3 golpes” or beats are those used when beating to tighten the weft after each pass of the shuttle. Woven in hand dyed Merino Wool in Chocolate or Indigo with natural Ivory or in Black and Red. We also weave it in Traditional Criollo Wool. The Jorongo size is 51” wide by 79” long with 12” of hand twisted and knotted fringes and the Gaban size is 39” x 79”.
